The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine provides up to 375 horsepower paired with a Speedshift nine-speed automatic transmission. It can get up to 27 miles per gallon on the highway and 21 miles per gallon in the city. The 4.0-liter V8 engine option provides up to 469 horsepower, with the MERCEDES-BENZ AMG® SL 63 providing even more at up to 577 horsepower.
Some models are also equipped with a AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel-drive system for added traction along with an AMG® electronic limited-slip rear differential.
You can get features like the Head-Up Display and MB Navigation to help you get around. The touchscreen has options for built-in navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to help you stay connected.
You can find safety features like Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist with Exit Warning Assist, LED lighting, and ten airbags, among other features, to help keep you and your passengers safe. The Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL is equipped with ten airbags, and you can add additional features such as Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, and more.
Inside, you have space for up to four and have a driver-focused cockpit that puts controls easily within reach. Some models have Nappa leather-trimmed seats and options for brushed stainless steel pedals. Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL 43: The Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL 43 comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine built around a composite aluminum frame. Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL 55: The Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL 55 upgrades to a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine and AMG® Performance all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL 63: At the top of the performance, you have 577 horsepower and a hyper-analog cockpit to feel front and center.
The 2024 model adds a new performance plug-in hybrid model that produces up to 805 horsepower. You can also get new non-standard paint options and Nappa leather seating options.
The MERCEDES-BENZ AMG® SL class will start around $111,000 with options up to $200,000 or more, depending on the trim and other options you select.
The base model offers up to 375 horsepower, with other Mercedes-Benz AMG® SL models producing up to 469 or 577 horsepower, depending on the model. The new plug-in hybrid option adds an electric motor to the twin-turbo V8, which produces up to 805 horsepower.
